Keep Yourself Pure

Live clean, innocent lives. Being quick to repent is a start. Ask God to forgive you for whatever you have done or said that is not pleasing to him. If you are living in sin, you will never have peace.

Another action you can take is to be quick to forgive. Forgive those who have wronged you, so you can heal and move forward. We want God to forgive us for our wrongdoings, so we must forgive others.

Be quick to believe God. Doubt, fear, and unbelief lead us away from God. God said he would never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Turn to him when you are feeling unsure. Ask for his guidance and strength to endure whatever you are facing. Believe that God will help you. These are a few examples of ways you can keep yourself pure.

“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” (Matthew 5:8)

“There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked.” (Isaiah 48:22)

“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:31-32)

“Jesus said unto him, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. (Mark 9:23)
