There was a paralyzed man who had friends who believed Jesus could heal him. They lifted him on his mat up onto a roof, dug a hole in that roof, and lowered him into the house because Jesus was inside. (There was a large crowd outside, listening to Jesus preach, blocking the entrance to the door.) Because of their faith, Jesus healed their friend. This is one example of why your circle matters. Also, faith in action moves God’s hand. These are two very important points. These men believed Jesus could heal their friend and they acted on that belief.
“When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins are forgiven thee.” (Mark 2:5)
“I say unto thee, arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.” (Mark 2:11)
“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” (James 2:17)
