I have mentioned before the importance of continually giving God praise, but I feel like it is worth mentioning again. Sometimes we forget to thank and praise God for the “little” things that happen in our lives, but focus more on the major life-changing blessings. I want to encourage you to praise God every day for all blessings no matter how big or small.
I noticed that when some people hear about ‘big, life-changing blessings’ like finding a great job or receiving an unexpected check in the mail or someone being healed, that they rejoice; but when they hear about ‘smaller’ blessings, they barely respond to that testimony. For example, narrowly missing a deer in the road or being able to have a tire plugged less than 15 minutes after a nail punctured it. These are also blessings from God, and no less important than the other blessings. God did not have to do any of these things, but he did them anyway. There is nothing that I can do to deserve God’s grace, but God chooses to bless me with it. How awesome is that!
So I choose to thank him and praise him every day for all blessings. I would encourage you to do the same, and rejoice with each other whenever you are made aware of how God has blessed you and others.
