A Few More Things to Consider

When you are around your friends, mind your tongue. The things we say can tear people down or build them up. Choose your words wisely. Positivity and encouragement go a long way.

When you feel angry, mind your temper. It’s okay to get angry, but don’t allow it to cause you to do or say something you will regret. Once you say things out of anger, you can never take it back. The damage is done.

When you are around a group, mind your behavior. Whether you’re around strangers or people you know, your behavior says a lot about who you are. If I’m a Christian, my behavior should reflect that.

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” (Ephesians 4:29)

“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil.” (Ephesians 4:26-27)

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2)
